Liberator Dart 331/347/363 Shortblock
Here we have our Dart block based Liberator short blocks. These short blocks are for the guys that have outgrown the typical capacity of the stock 302 blocks, which is roughly in the neighborhood of 500-550hp, sometimes more, sometimes less. If you are running alot of nitrous, blowers, turbos and want the added hp and most importantly the added security from block breakage, these are the short blocks for you. This high quality dart 302 based dart shortblock is built with all brand name aftermarket parts. It is built on a Dart SHP block (Sportsman and Iron Eagle also available) with a 4340 forged steel crank, 4340 Forged H Beam Rods or Oliver Light I Beam Rods and 2618 Forged Wiseco Pistons. The pistons include Wiseco's GFX ring package 1.2mm, 1.2mm, 3mm, which includes a nitrided steel top ring and napier second. Perfect ring package for a street or race application, naturally aspirated or with nitrous, supercharger or turbo. Please take a look at the picture to see the attention to detail on the handwork that is done to the dart block before we wash and paint it. This is one of the things that separates us from the rest.
You can choose how complete you want the build. Keep it as just a shortblock or add one or both of these options -
- Custom cam on a billet core, installed and degreed with an 8 way adjustable SA Gear billet timing chain with a torrigton bearing
- Optional Oil Pan Package includes - Moroso Aftermarket Oil Pan with billet end seals (oil drainback for supercharger or turbo can be added), Moroso Oil Pan Pick up, Melling Oil Pump (high voulme, if needed), ARP Oil Pump Bolts, Fel Pro Pan Gasket, ARP Billet Pumpshaft, Timing Chain Cover, Timing Chain Cover Gasket, Fuel Pump Eccentric if using a mechanical fuel pump.
