The Liberator 347 is for the guys ready to step it up and build a kick ass 400+hp street machine they can drive everyday and take to the track. Our 347's use a 5.315 rod which means no piston pin intersecting the oil ring land on the pistons. If the 331 is too small then the 347 is just what you need. Capable of producing in excess of 400hp easily when combined with the correct parts, these short blocks are an awesome way to wake up your Ford in a hurry. Again, many options available, just call us!
Shipping is almost always a second charge, I like to charge shipping 24-48 hours before your shortblock is set to ship, this way we get an accurate up to date cost instead of quoting weeks before it actually ships. Also, we have 15 different carriers to choose from, which means lower pricing for you. Your best option is if possible to pick up the pallet at the shippers nearby terminal, if they have a terminal close to you, you stop in and they will load it on your truck, this is by far the cheapest option. The most expensive option is if the delivery is made to a residence and you need a lift gate truck. Many shipping options available, please call and inquire, this way we can try to save you some money.
Note: If you complete an online order for a shortblock, there will NOT be any freight added to your total, the freight cost will be a seperate charge 24-48 hours before your shortblock ships.

We take great pride in our work and sure there are other short blocks for a few hundred dollars less but price only gets you so far! It's the attention to the details that sets engine builders apart from one another, details that may mean a long service life or a quick death for your small block ford. Thanks Again!
Got my 347 shortblock 4 weeks ago, got it together and it makes ridiculous amounts of tq on the street, these guys are awesome. I cant stop driving it. Thanks so much again woody, you got a good thing, I dont care how long it takes to get one I will be back for another engine.

I would really like to thank woody for everything he has done for me. The 347 complete motor he built is just awesome. 347, Hi Port head, jay cam etc... made 523hp on a superflow engine dyno, very impressed with the whole process. It took 9 weeks from start to finish and in the world of go fast engines that is not very long at all, being a small shop I totally understand what he goes through on his engines as I now see first hand what he built for me, absolutely awesome, thanks alot

Woody, wanted to say thanks again for everything you have done for us. Car is running great, few bugs to work as usual but other than that, shortblock was just like you said.

Heres my deal, I sent woody my boss 302 block, wanted a 347 all forged internals, low compression for a single turbo setup. I waited damn near 3 months to get my shortblock back and after seeing it in person and then finally on the dyno, I would have waited a year for this bad boy. Me and my pit crew buddies are so damn excited for racing to start again. We used a chassis dyno for tuning purposes and hp/tq numbers secondly, but it did put down 689hp at the tires, woody said it would make between 675-690 depending on how aggressive we got. Well we pushed it hard, 27 pulls in 24 hours. Thanks so much for the awesome engine man. The only downside is the wait time, but I guess you can't rush good things, we are very happy

Just wanted to give my opinion real quick. I waited 6 weeks for my shortblock to be built and after driving the car this weekend, I could not be any happier. Jim treated me great, car is running great and I have had no problems through the whole shortblock buying experience. I was a bit impatient when I was told the wait time was 5-6 weeks but decided to go ahead and put my order in. I couldnt be happier. Thanks so much

I got a complete 347 from woody. Carb to oil pan, good price but I wasn't really concerned about the best price, especially when ordering an engine like I wanted. I can tell you from my dealings with woody, he does what he says. No hassle and he is very nice to talk to. I was not interested in internet hype, just wanted a solid combination, I would recommmend him to anyone without fear of putting my neck on the line.

I bought a 347 Liberator short block, did nothing but change from my original 302 stock short block and the car has consistently been 3-4mph faster with no other changes. This guy is great, thanks
